In April 2019, Trysette became one of two back up singers for the legendary artist John Fogerty, touring 47 dates in the United States, Canada and Europe on his 50 Year Woodstock Anniversary Trip. The tour included major high profile performances including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Radio City Music Hall, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on the original Woodstock site, and ABC’s Good Morning America to name just a few.
Trysette is also featured on John Fogerty's 50 Year Trip: Live At Red Rocks concert film, released on DVD, DC and vinyl.
Trysette is currently enjoying rising success with her collaboration involving Nashville artist Nate Smith and Nashville Hit Songwriter Larry McCoy. In October 2020, Nate released a re-write of Trysette's 2015 release, 'Under My Skin' and was immediately signed to Sony ATV, followed closely by Sony Records Nashville. In April 2023, 'Under My Skin' was released as part of Nate's self titled debut album.
Trysette's most recent collaboration with U.S. artist, 3Mind Blight, is an R&B track called 'Situations' which held #1 position for 3 weeks running on the Global Indie Alliance Radio Charts in March 2021. A remix of Situations by Australian duo, Brother Fresh & The Dark Man also made radio waves and awards including #1 Songs Of The Summer on the prestigious LA Radio Show with Bob Cesca.
After several years touring as opener and back up singer for U.S. artist Bob Malone (described as “A Keyboard Wizard” by The New Yorker and also keyboardist at John Fogerty), Trysette was invited along with the entire Bob Malone band to perform a total of 25 shows spanning more than two weeks at the Umbria Jazz Festival, Italy and China in 2018. Outside of her regular tours with Bob Malone, Trysette has also toured as a solo artist extensively in Australia and the United States with Australian pianist Fiona Joy 2012 - 2014, appearing on various morning TV shows including Fox 10 News (Phoenix AZ), KKCO 11 and News Channel 5 Grand Junction CO, as well as Bronxnet Television NYC.
In January 2017, Trysette wrote and recorded with Simone Felice (producer Lumineers) and David Baron (MD and keyboardist to Lenny Kravitz) at their studios in Woodstock NY. The first single release, Feels Like Freedom, from these sessions is now available on all platforms.
Some of Trysette's song licensing credits include the CBS daytime drama 'Young & Restless' 2016 with 'Good Day' and 'Sweep Me Off My Feet', an independent movie placement 'Call Me Brother' with her song 'Take My Hand' 2018, and an on-line advertising campaign with her single 'Feels Like Freedom'.
Trysette grew up in Grafton, a picturesque river town of 18,000 in country NSW Australia, the same town that has produced some of Australia's most celebrated acts including Troy Cassar-Daley, The McClymonts and Don Walker (Cold Chisel).
Though Trysette and the majority of her eight siblings undertook classical piano training, she found an escape in the pop songs she heard on the school bus radio each day as there was little exposure to mainstream music at home. Trysette would remember these songs and then sit at the piano until she could play and sing them by heart. Some of these early influences included Carole King, Elton John, James Taylor and Lionel Richie. "I loved playing and singing ballads. I remember Lionel Richie's 'Hello' and Carole King's 'Natural Woman' were two of the first songs I ever taught myself to play".
Trysette went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Music at the Southern Cross University of NSW, and was immediately picked up by Warner Chappell Publishing having written and recorded a handful of her own songs by now.
Seven independent albums later, Trysette is now an Internationally renowned solo artist, enchanting fans with her sensual love songs, warm husky voice and her creative and cultured piano skills.
While on tour in the US, Trysette has appeared on various morning television shows including Fox 10 News (Phoenix, AZ), KKCO 11 and News Channel 5 (Grand Junction, CO), and Bronxnet Television (NYC).
"She is the real thing" (Denny Seiwell - Paul McCartney and Wings)
Trysette’s 2015 release, Feel So Pretty was recorded in Los Angeles and showcases some of America's most sought after musicians including Bob Malone (John Fogerty), Mike Baird (Journey, Joe Cocker), Randy Ray Mitchell (Donna Summer) and Ben Mauro (Lionel Richie, Cher). Feel So Pretty is a piano based album featuring a tasty cover of Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars. Stripping it back to just piano and strings, Trysette delivers a powerful rendition.
"She's a wonderfully emotive singer and songwriter... if only for Chasing Cars this would be well worth the price of admission" (Paul Zollo - American Songwriter Magazine)
Having received numerous accolades for her cover of Chasing Cars, Trysette decided to record a full album of covers in 2016 which she named 'Shadowgirl'. A few popular tracks from this album include Carole King's 'Natural Woman', Stevie Nicks' 'Landslide', Coldplay's 'Fix You', and a wonderfully unique version of Etta James' 'I'd Rather Go Blind'.
